Ingredients

  • 2 lbs cheese ravioli

  • 1 jar marinara sauce

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 375F (190C). Cook the ground beef in a pan over medium heat until browned. Drain the grease.
  • In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce. Arrange a layer of ravioli over the sauce. Spread a layer of cooked ground beef over the ravioli, followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used up.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned. Let the lasagna rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can use either fresh or frozen ravioli. If using frozen, there’s no need to thaw them first.
  • For a vegetarian version, you can replace the ground beef with a mix of sautéed vegetables.
  • You can also add some grated Parmesan on top for an extra cheesy touch.
